Elden Ring Known Issues

Issue #1: Protecting the Player from Crash

We are currently strengthening our systems so as to protect the game’s stability. Players are experiencing crashes frequently, which is out of our control. While we’re investigating the causes of the crashes, we are working on securing a fix. Please be patient until the problems are resolved.

Issue #2: Memory Usage is High

We have notices that every character has a memory usage of 100~200MB, regardless of the number of encounters they have handled. We have plans to talk more about this with you in an upcoming update, but until then, we recommend that you clear your detailed folder of saved data for your current character first.

Issue #3: Timing Formula issues

While we are aware of the long wait times experienced by players and are working on compensating for it, we have to consider the difficulty of tuning the formula to the pace of the game. Please be patient until it reaches a certain level.

Issue #4: Fading of Encounter Cards

Encounter cards experience an issue where some have begun to fade as the ratio of combat encounters is increased. In this particular case, we need to prioritize restoration of encounter cards that are important for the next battle and are working on compensating for it. We apologize for the problem.

Rebirth-44133 Here is the reason why I didn’t buy this game, even though I know all the DLCs are free. Spoiler: I’m an indie-game-player, and I actually like and appreciate games that go outside of the norm. However, I’ve been with EA since the beginning of FANboy, and I have to say that I don’t trust them at all. This game looks awful. The animation is sloppy, the feel of the camera is odd and I can’t pinpoint it exactly, but the style of the game with archers and maces flying around, a 2D view and 3D dungeons doesn’t feel very natural to me. I’m sorry, but this game made me realize just how far we’ve come from the presentation of The Lord of the Rings. It’s clear that EA has no idea how to make a fantasy game at all. The graphics are amazing in Firefall and Star Wars: 1313, but for some reason they have to take the game into dark fantasy, medieval times and replace the heros with orcs and trolls, and the story has to be so deep that it’s hard to even read. We don’t get the depth of characters that EA has done in the past, but the worst part is that it’s clear that the artists are just going through motions to make it look better, when in truth it really doesn’t. The problem with a lot of people is that they just don’t realize the difference between good animation and bad animation, but this game is proof of it. Good animation is when the animations are fluid and do not take up a lot of time, something that Dragon Age did a lot better than this game did. This game has the opposite problem; the animations are choppy, don’t fit together and the frames are horribly at odds with each other. I can clearly see the difference between a 100 FPS bff6bb2d33
